(Sorry\n<a href=\"http://plindenbaum.blogspot.com/\">Pierre</a> :)</p>\n\n<p><a href=\"http://biostar.stackexchange.com/\">BioStar</a> is a Q&amp;A website for bioinformatics,\njust like the <a href=\"http://blueobelisk.shapado.com/\">Blue Obelisk eXchange</a>. Neil\nand Pierre have an ongoing struggle to gain the most karma, requiring Pierre\nto put in a <a href=\"https://friendfeed.com/yokofakun/6f72029c/please-stop-asking-questions-on-while-i-m\">formal complaint</a>\nagainst people posting questions when he is asleep (the whole 3 hours). So,\nI coined to idea of mapping all <a href=\"http://biostar.stackexchange.com/users\">BioStar users</a>\non a Google Map. Neil picked it up, and had combined his coding skills with\nthe various Open API, Open Standards, and Open Source solution, to <a href=\"http://nsaunders.wordpress.com/2010/10/09/biostar-users-of-the-world-unite/\">come up\nonly hours later</a>\nwith <a href=\"http://www.zeemaps.com/185997\">this map</a>. Here are the BioStar users from\nmy region:</p>\n\n<p><img src=\"/assets/images/biostarUsers.png\" alt=\"\" /></p>\n\n<p>Now, who will be my new cheminformatics hero, and make a map for the Blue Obelisk\neXchange? ;)</p>",
