      "content_html": "<p>When you write a class implementing an interface or extending a super class, it is often the case that the API is\nidentical. It would be nice to inherit the JavaDoc documentation, which is possible.</p>\n\n<h2 id=\"inheriting-javadoc\">Inheriting JavaDoc</h2>\n<p>Java method that overwrite a superclass method or implement an interface method, can inherit JavaDoc by including this JavaDoc for that method:</p>\n\n<div class=\"language-java highlighter-rouge\"><div class=\"highlight\"><pre class=\"highlight\"><code><span class=\"cm\">/** {@inheritDoc} */</span>\n<span class=\"nd\">@TestMethod</span><span class=\"o\">(</span><span class=\"s\">\"testGetMIMEType\"</span><span class=\"o\">)</span>\n<span class=\"kd\">public</span> <span class=\"nc\">String</span> <span class=\"nf\">getMIMEType</span><span class=\"o\">()</span> <span class=\"o\">{</span>\n  <span class=\"k\">return</span> <span class=\"kc\">null</span><span class=\"o\">;</span>\n<span class=\"o\">}</span>\n</code></pre></div></div>\n\n<p>The JavaDoc documentation <a href=\"http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.4.2/docs/tooldocs/windows/javadoc.html#inheritingcomments\">notes</a> that\nmissing @param and @return values are inherited implicitly since JavaDoc 1.3, but I have never noticed this in Java6. The\nabove <em>explicit</em> markup is confirmed to work.</p>",
